Yahoo! Pool Game Controls

Most players uses only their mouse to play Yahoo! Pool, some of them doesn't know that they can use their keyboard and some doesn't want to use. You can actually play Yahoo! Pool only with your mouse but not only with your keyboard, why ? keep reading :)

Ok you are on a table with your opponent,hit start for your first game but what now ?

Catching the cue (stick)
Use your left mouse button to catch the cue (i advice, catch the cue almost at the end of it)

Aiming
After catch the cue without hold up your finger you can turn the cue to your object ball ( the colored one you want to shoot / pot) in any way until you satisfy. If you want you can left click on the object ball so the cue will auto aim to the object ball but you should still manually adjust the aim for a better shot.

Shooting
After you setup your cue to shoot now you need to catch the cue with the right mouse button, just pull back the cue until you satisfy with the power you set (When you pull back the cue the power bar which right side on the table will change the power). To finish your shot just hold up your finger.

Ball in hand or taking cue ball from the pocket
To move the cue ball on the table just catch the cue ball with your left mouse button. Sometimes if your opponent pots different kind of ball (stripe and solid)at the break table may look like locked.If your opponent can not take back the cue ball to table from the pocket you should do that cause it means it is your turn.You do it like you use ball in hand.

You can't catch do this with your keyboard.

Aiming
You can use your keyboards left

and right

arrow keys to aim.

After you done with aiming tap the cue again to make it sure that it is active or it will not move use your back arrow

key to setup power speed.

Shooting
You should catch or tap the cue with your mouse to activate it, to finish your shot just hit the space button

of your keyboard.

Ball in hand or taking cue ball from the pocket
You can't do this with keyboard.
