Born in late 1968, Istanbul Turkey.He learnt English by himself ( his school wasn't good enough) but as you see it's not fluent :) .Started to play real pool 1985 with playing his cousin but hate it cause he don't like losing.In 1989 he was playing pool for money ;). He is well on hard shots like banking than normal easy shots.
Meet with Yahoo! Pool at year 2000, first he lost most of his games cause real pool is different than Yahoo! Pool except game mental/game style.He stopped playing games with others and practice 1 month himself on practice tables for learn cue ball control, English (spins), using power, bank shots at Yahoo! Pool.That time it was free to play at ladders ( now you have to be Yahoo! All Star member to join) and he joined a Cases league which plays at ladder room.He gone for number 1 at that league in short time and become a respected member and had his first nickname there, players were calling him as "banky" cause of his bank shots.He interest about ladder and start to play ladder games to go up on the ladder ,but realized he should able to play 3-5 second games to play with higher ranking ladder players to have a chance to climb the ladder.His ladder rank was 159,000th at that time.
He weren't play any timer games before so he was in trouble but if he has passion nothing can stop him so he start to play timer games with high ranked players they were all 3,4,5 second games he became a fast player at early 2001 and this helped him to know where the cue will appear after he or his opponent shoot.You will probably say what the f.. is 3,4 sec games now lol, Yahoo! was allowing 1 sec games since couple years ago than later decide to make it 5 sec minimum.He realized that he should have know / be friends of top 20 players to play them which makes his sick and decide to stop playing for ladder rung when he was 60th at the ladder so he left ladder and his league which belongs to a ladder room.
He joined the first interleague at Yahoo! Pool called "WIP" two times under two different leagues which almost 180 players were joining for win it.At first time he join wip he made to finals but lost it at finals.
Since he wants to win it later he joined to WIP second time under another cases league and this time he made it! and won the wip tourney .
The most important point is Yahoo! Pool aimers weren't around while this things happened.At late 2003 Yahoo! pool aimers came online and he stop to belong any leagues, the reason was most players were calling him aimer user and he was sick of it and he decide to create this site for share his knowledge with other Yahoo! Pool players.He had two meetings with game site creators for find a solution to stop aimer chits but learnt that only Yahoo! can stop them not others.
While he writes this article at July 2007, he were done playing 150.000 games at Yahoo! and were celebrating his 22th year at real pool as a honest player.
