I don’t care to play with aimers cause they suck but i am sick of accusing by using aimer by the players that they have no idea what is an aimer can do or do not (this is another blog post subject)
I decide to write this post after a loser accused me using an aimer and it do not allow him to pot their balls DUH!
There are some aimer software around makes the same job i am not sure but some of them might be copy of another brand so a Yahoo! games team member will determine all this shit aimer software around and will follow everyday if they have an update.Yahoo! game team will prepare a scanner which knows all the files aimers install the losers system.
You know when we install a software on to our computers it shows us their terms and ask us if we agree so if we agree it allow us to install and use it.
Well Yahoo! will ask us every time we login to a Yahoo! Pool room if we agree their software will scan our computers and decide , label us when we login to rooms.
Yahoo! gave All star members the option with a blue star their name so they can reward players who agreed to scanned their computers before entering a room like umm showing their names with green letters and may be a green star .You can show aimers names as red color and may be do not allow them to login to any room.
If this is possible software side by Yahoo! think about it, when you take a look at the players list at the room you will know who has an aimer . By the time people will stop to use aimers and we will back the good old days.

that is a great theory, but, some people advance from these little ideas. Like what about http://www.platnum.org that is a website full of anti-yahoo material, but things like that actually help yahoo to continue, because it makes more people want to be able to use it. yahoo has already done great by eliminating the scrollers (people who scroll crap in game lobbies) and they made the ratings only go as high as 3500.. but thats what made a lot of people go to them, when i was an average user 5 years ago, before all of this, there were easily a hundred in every room now there is about 12 here, n 12 there….Yahoo has took a lot of fun out of it
Yeah Adam, i totally agree, people make their own fun out of yahoo besides playing pool, even though its stupid, it gave other people sumthing to do
Aimers are so Crap! , Anybody whos half decent would shoot better without one. After finnally trying one to see how accurate they are, i will NEVER Acuse Aimer to anybody because of how BAD they are ! its not a help, maybe to the real shit rook it helps on long shots, but as far as banking goes… it just gets in the way. the last nub who had 1 challanged me on cam and i beat him bank all balls TB8 he only managed to bank 2balls before i cleaned him up, and he had his aimer loll!!
They wont ever get rid of aimers, Even if your idea was attempted, new aimers would not show up on old scans, as soon as yahoo patches somthing, theres sombody getting around it. or programmers would just make proggys for you to “show green”
If you truly have an enjoyment for ypool and want to test your skill against Legit players, Join cam leagues or only play on cam… otherwise theres no point to worry bout a nub with an AA. its no excuse for why they beat you =D

Aimers oh big subject, I dont’ have problems beat them (90%) problem is iam sick of accused by aimer (which people has not a clue what they can do or don’t lol)
I booted from leagues before cause they thought i have aimer .Thought to join a cam lg but they want to record full screen during games duh i have a 22 inch screen for now which i want to buy an 30 inch. Plus i dont like to play in leagues for many reasons which ill explain later
Checking my computer? That is retarded! I’m sorry…I don’t want any website scanning my computer. Who cares about cheaters…this is online pool… get a life.
My theory for what it’s worth :
I hear a lot of people insisting everyone they play against wins with “auto-aimers”.
When I ask them what an “auto-aimer” is, it’s obvious they really have no idea what the programs really are.
They actually think there are programs that calculate the best shot, position your stick to the exact angle, set the English, and make amazing shots for you.
People have been “losing” to these nonexistent programs since Pool was created and they are amazed to learn nothing like that has ever existed.
Programs like Pool Station, Poolerz Aim, and Pool Buddy are really just line-extenders but somehow the term “auto-aimer” caught on.
In real pool, people use similar measuring tools all the time and I’m sure we’ve all held up pieces of paper or index cards to the monitor to get the same effect.
Is that cheating?
Maybe – But it’s definitely not “auto-aiming”.
Not to mention the diamond inlays on real pool tables which are definitely aiming points.
If a so-called aimer helps you to play at your best then I would like to try to beat you at your best.
I have played yahoo pool for a while, I enjoy playing and chatting to other players, I am not the best player in pool, but i sure at times can play brilliant. I enter the intermediate section and I would set up practice table and experiment my plays and practice my shots for 10-20 mins, I look on Pool Skill.com that will show videos on how to pot shots, some video will show you what direction on spins you use which i find very useful.
I do not appreciate users who use software like pool auto aimers. I have probably have played opponents who have used the software when they would play against me. I see that using various software’s is gaining extra aid in winning games as its not really a challenge, but a irritating situation for loads of opponents out there.
I have played 200 games, won 101 and lost 99 i win and lose with enjoyment, i know when someone is using the software which is something i we will just have to put up with. It would be good if we can really see who uses the software and the ones who dont use the software. I would like to support with the true players on how we can weed out the cheaters.
For now i will keep playing yahoo pool and i will win and lose loads whether i was beaten by true player or the cheaters, I’m still going to keep enjoying the game and we will one day bring down all the cheaters “hurrah!!”
i am too am being accused of using a bloody aimer, or whatever they are, its just a simple fact of not being a bad loser.. I say scrap the aimer or whatever it is
Using an aimer in yahoo pool isn’t cxheating at all. Yahoo makes the rules and they permit the use of aimers in their game rooms, so if they allow it it isn’t cheating. Yahoo even rates aimers. The aimers are getting better and better though. I ran into a couple of people playing with and aimer that knocked in every ball right on the break. To me this is just stupid… I mean, what’s the point. I guess they get enjoyment outta control of not even letting the other guy take a shot. Kinda takes the “game” outta the game.
it is not fair to play with and aimer i could not believe my eyes when i first ran into one,nobody can be that good.
