After Yahoo! FINALLY took a step about killing bots in our rooms (captcha) we have now less bots but we still have . We also have human spammers whom cant make it work that bot programs but still want to spam.
My idea is Yahoo! may stop new accounts (id’s) to able to use chat function on lobbies till they play 50 rated games. This will not stop them but will make their job harder. So no one will go and create an id in one minute and come back to spam.
It is like what most leagues has in their rules, they do not allow provisional players to join their leagues.
Bad idea. Only a 32 x 50 second delay to get the bots boosted to 50 games, if the original person had enough motive to spam a room. Then there’s the problem of all the potential new players that would be disgruntled. I sure as heck would be frustrated if I couldn’t chat until i played 50 games! Also, some leagues DO allow provisionals to join.

So the spam bots back in town more powerful, in most lobbies i cant see any human chatting but only bots and that sucks. My idea is so basic and will not stop them but it may work for a while like everything Yahoo do theirself.
Man its all bs people yahoo cant stop spammers so why try all u have to do is boost an id to get the games but thats not the point i play in a room all the time and i dont want a league in my room so when a league comes i scroll til they leave its easy and yahoo cant do anything about it they try but fail everytime some people.. like “Elite” scroll rooms for stupid reasons thats costs us all cuz i dont scroll unless im in my own room =]
