Internet giant Yahoo! has launched the beta of a hosted blogging and social networking service, “Yahoo! 360 Degrees”.The free service will combine many of Yahoo!’s current services instant messaging, local search, music, groups and photos with a hosted web blog service.
Yahoo! 360 Degrees marks the first time the company has offered a blogging service, although it does offer related tools in Japan and South Korea. Initially offered to a select number of testers from March 29, in the next six weeks, the scope of the trial will be broadened. Yahoo! says it does not plan to insert ads into the blog’s. Yahoo! 360
